We set up sustainable schools in Africa to improve access to quality education

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the PEAS emergency appeal page.

Recently PEAS missed out on some vital funding and has a budget shortfall of £50,000. This means that we may not be able to build the second school we were hoping to this year in the district of Kitgum, .

f we don't build the school, it will affect hundreds of children living in Kitgum - an area that has been torn apart by violence for over 20 years. Secondary education is crucial for these kids, who have suffered more than their fair share of hardship.

About the charity

PEAS is a UK charity which aims to make a sustainable, long-term difference to the lives of African children. It does this through the foundation and development of low-fee secondary schools, helping vocation centred secondary education become available to a greater number of young Africans.
