On Sunday 13 March 2016 I'm walking the Marsden March which is a 14 mile sponsored walk between the Royal Marsden's hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton. All funds raised go directly to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, so every pound donated will help to provide the best possible diagnosis, treatment and care for those affected by cancer.

In April 2015 my 4 year old grand-daughter was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and was admitted to the Oak Children's Centre at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton, for immediate treatment. She completed her final round of chemotherapy in August and is now back at school.

I don't have the words to adequately express how grateful our family are for the support we have received from so many people in the past months or to describe the skill and dedication of the many staff involved in her care and treatment. I am glad to have this opportunity to raise some money to express thanks to the fantastic team at the Marsden and to contribute to enabling them to continue in the future.
