Last year I started to support a child in Uganda via World Vision. I have really enjoyed the chance to be part of someone's life that is so different from mine while sharing the same faith. We exchanged letters, videos, pictures, and joy as we got to know each other more throughout the last year.

World Vision recently invited UK sponsors to take part in a 12-day tour to the Himalayas to witness first-hand how World Vision supports communities and the impact they are making. That trip will be at the end of October 2023 and part of it includes a 5-day trek alongside the Nepalese countryside to witness the tradition and culture of the local communities. The highest point will be Poon Hill (3400m) and after the trek, we will support World Vision with a number of local projects.

This is a great chance for my fiance and I to learn and grow in how we can support our brothers and sisters around the world that live very different lives compared to us. Please join us in this adventure through prayer and giving.
