<p>Thanks so for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, again, for many!</p>
<p>And so to the 2nd tallest mountain in Africa I go - Jbel Toubkhal, set at 4,167m in the beautiful Atlas Mountains. </p>
<p>The trek will be in September and I hope to raise at least £500 for another charity very personal to me - The Mayhew Animal Home. Based in Kensal Green, N. London, The Mayhew are one of the most effective animal sanctuaries in the capital, rescuing thousands of animals from cruelty and neglect.</p>
<p>Any donations made to the home contribute significantly to the following 4 objectives, all of which help to ensure the safe and healthly rehabilitation of the animals when brought into their care</p>
<p>- the taking in and caring of unwanted or abused animals for re-homing to responsible and caring owners</p>
<p>- the insurance that no healthy animal in their care is ever put to sleep</p>
<p>- the prevention of unwanted animal through their neutering and outreach programmes</p>
<p>- the promotion of respect and compassion for animals through activites, campaigns and education programmes.</p>
<p>As some of you know, I help when I can at weekends by walking and socialising the dogs, but would love to contribute more hence the reason for this once in a lifetime trek. Any donations are so hugely valuable and very much appreciated.</p>
