I found out about Oasis a few years ago, firstly because of  Stop the Traffik, an initiative to bring an end to the modern day slave trade and the trafficing of young children.

Oasis are a Christian charity who work  at home and abroad to help to bring about inclusion and justice for those who, for whatever reason are the marginalised in their communities. They have projects supporting education, health and housing.

A great part of their work is with young people and this is the reason this charity is close to my heart; they house homeless young people on the streets of London, help girls who have been sold to brothels at the age of 14, been beaten by their parents and witnessed the murder of siblings. They help these young people to feel loved, valued, empowered and hopeful about the future.

I have talked my Josh into doing the skydive with me, so if anyone knows him and would like to halve their donation between us that would be brilliant! His page is www.justgiving.com/Josh-Dickson. We need to raise more than £395 each as a minimum as this is how much it costs to do it so please give generously, we've never done anything like this before and will be petrified when it comes to it, (its easy in theory isn't it.......just jump out of plane with a nice hunky man attached who will save my life by pulling a cord!)
