Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Losing someone close to you is always going to be tough but loosing someone as young as 57 years old is always hard to understand.

Last year on the 7th March 2012 the Duffy family, extended family and friends from near and far had to say goodbye to a true gentleman, Mr Patsy Duffy.

Patsy was born in the Foreglen, but soon skipped over the hill to raise a beautiful big family in Magherafelt. Over the years he has made many friendships, so we as a family would like you to join us in celebrating the legacy he has left behind.

In memory of Patsy, the O'Briens GAC Foreglen and the extended Duffy family are running a memorial day of sports followed by a night packed with music and dancing on the 23rd March and we would love for you to join us!

Alzheimer's Society is a charity close to our hearts so this is the perfect opportunity to show your support for the amazing help they give to familys affected by dementia. Any small donation you can make will provide funding for the continued research in the fight against  dementia.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
