Emily was the most kind caring & beautiful daughter, sister & Auntie. On Friday 26th April our beautiful sister Emily finally took the courage of moving out of the family home and move into her own flat. This was Emily’s first big step in life and she was both excited & nervous and over the moon to have her own place at the age of 26. Sadly during the early hours of Tuesday 30th April 2019 our beautiful sister Emily suffered an Epileptic seizure and passed away suddenly in her sleep. As a family we are completely devastated and heart broken to lose our Emily with no warning and torturing ourselves asking why? Why Emily? Why did she have to go? Would she still be here if she was at home? The pain and torture is unbearable. SUDEP Action is a charity who support families like ours to help give bereavement support. Emily is one of many young people who have had their lives stolen by Epilepsy, a condition none of us knew could take her life from her. As a family we want to support the charity SUDEP Action to raise money & awareness to help prevent deaths such as Emily’s  and prevent families suffering the pain and heart ache that we are experiencing which will never go away.
