Story

OK, I'll level with you, I'm not very fit.  While I'm really pleased that I cycled over 4,000 miles in 2020, the lack of access to the gym has taken its toll.  Let's be honest, even when I go, I like to do some weight training but I avoid working on my core because it hurts!

So I'm going to try and turn over a new leaf to celebrate my 50th birthday and over 2021 going to make sure I plank (at least) once per week, every week, for 50 seconds, and in so far as lockdown rules allow do this in 50 different places.

I'll put lots of posts on social media of my efforts as motivation to do it, and most likely to give everyone a good laugh at my expense.

I'm raising money for Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Through TreeHouse School, The Rise School and Ambitious College we offer specialist education and support. Our ambition is to make the ordinary possible for more children and young people with autism.

So go on, make an ageing man happy and sponsor me today!
