500 miles across 5 countries in 5 days isn't that tough, I know.  There's not even that many hills apart from some in the Lakes, a few in Scotland, some tough stuff over the Mountains of Mourne and a few lumpy bits in Wales.

So I'm not asking for sponsorship for that.  What I'm asking you to sponsor for me is that I'm doing this with two teenagers. I know, the horror.  I'm cycling with my son Max (14) who is raising money for his trip to Venezuela next year - (furthest I got to go was Yorkshire when I was at school) and his friend Henry (also 14).

Two teenagers, one tent, their socks.  My socks.  Punctures when we're all knackered and hungry. That one last hill I forgot to mention while I was saying "one last hill, lads" on the previous hill.  Wearing my bike helmet for my own safety when I prod them awake at 05:30hrs.
