Denise and I are heading up to Ben Lomond on the 11th of August, we are joining the 'Forget me not walk' team for a day of hill walking in remembrance of our loved ones that suffered from Alzheimer's disease.

Maureen McKenzie was mother to Denise and mother in law to me. In the short time that I knew Mojo as I liked to call her, I got to enjoy her infectious laugh and sense of humour. She was an intelligent lady with a heart of gold as she would give you her last. With a passion for her second home, Porta ferry in Ireland, she wouldn’t think twice about joining in on a rendition of Danny boy. Having a love for music and all things Daniel ‘O’Donnell, our Mo enjoyed her last days here on earth surrounded by her family, smiling, laughing and singing along to her pal Daniel.
