Thankyou for visiting my JustGiving page.  I have decided to enter the Baker Hughs Aberdeen 10K run this year as it is somehting I have never done before ever!  So I thought well it has been a year of new experiences so why not add to them.  I have been in regular training since March since I do not usually run and there have been many lessons learnt including how to avoid the dreaded stitch!  It has been tough but many people have willed me on and I am looking foward to hitting the road and running with the thousand other professionals, keen runners and the amateurs like me!

 

I have decided to also run for charity to give the insentive to try my hardest.  I decided to run for Eriskine military hospital as it is a cause that I feel quite strong about and the way our men and women in the armed forces put their lives on the line day in and day out in Afghanistan or Iraq or many other threatres in which they operate where casualties are sometimes unavoidable.  Eriskine helps these wounded military personnel recover and try to adapt and cope with their circumstances.  After all they have been asked to do they should get the best treatment for their injuries when they come home. 

 

So please feel free to donate whatever amount you see fit to help Erskine keep up its amazing work. 

 

I have been training with some say tormenting my friend Adrian in the build up to the 10K.  So if you feel so inclined feel free to add a bit to his good cause (McMillan Cancer Research)!
