My story
Hi, my name is Paul Hardaker, in May 2011 I plan on sailing around Great Britain single handed with an African Grey parrot to raise money for the Crohns and Colitis UK charity.
I have been diagnosed with Crohns for about ten years now and I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones , as up until now I have had only a few stays in hospital due to 'flare ups'.
There are many a child / adult suffering horrendously with this disease, it is still a very grey area and hopefully any monies that I can raise will be put to good use.
I am updating my blog at www.zuma-paul.blogspot.com, feel free to follow, as the trip will be a lot easier with all the support.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
My charity
Crohn's and Colitis UK
Charity Registration No. 1117148 (England & Wales) and SC038632 (Scotland)
Crohn’s and Colitis UK is the new name for The National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (NACC). Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis often start in teenagers and young adults and last a lifetime. The Charity provides support to those affected and raises funds for research into a cure.
