Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to run this half marathon for two reasons. To set a personal target to get fit again now I've turned 40! More importantly, the second was to raise some money for a worthy cause - always a very motivating factor when you are struggling with the training or in the actual race.

I have chosen to run for the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association because it is a small organisation trying desparately hard to raise money to support the research and education of medical professionals regarding this condition.

My son's Godmother, Carole Straker, suffers from the condition. She was instrumental in setting up the charity and has worked endlessly to raise awareness of this little known organisation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
