I have been cycling to and from work, and with my local club for nearly 2 years now. I absolutely love it; I save a fortune on travel, keep fit and enjoy guilt free food. However, London is missing out on crucial infrastructure for people on bikes and other road users as well, there have already been a number of deaths on the roads this year, especially involving large trucks in the city centre. I was hit by a bus and a car in the same week in Decemeber, its not much fun. We need to implement more measures to keep road users as safe as possible. London can be the litmus test for the rest of the country and can hopefully inspire countries across the world.
