In September 2009 I completed the 26.2 mile Toronto Marathon course in a time of 4hrs 22min 22sec (Can I go faster and break the 4 hour barrier this year??)

I chose to run for "The Lighthouse Club” becauce of the great work that helps to relieve poverty suffered as a result of accident or disability or ill health by persons employed or formerly employed within the building and civil engineering industries and allied trades in the United Kingdom including the widows and children of such people.
