We support children affected by HIV to so they can reach their full potential

Story

Hi All

Many Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you probably aware, I will be running the London Marathon this year, with the aim of breaking 4 hours, but more importantly, raising money for the charity Sentebale.

Sentebale is a charity that was established in 2006 to help vulnerable children in Lesotho, particularly those who have been orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS. Lesotho is one of the Africa's poorest countries that is facing a national disaster, as an estimated 1 in 3 adults are HIV Positive and life expectancy has dropped from 61 in 1991 to just 34 in 2010.

The charity's mission is to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children in this forgotten country, providing care, support and education to those abandoned by existing aid organisations and the government.

Please support this new and little known charity with any amount you can offer, no matter how large or small.

Thanks

Paul
