Story

IIn 1997, my 5 year old nephew Jamie was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disorder. Following years of treatment and a bone marrow transplant, Jamie remains healthy to this day.

Sadly following Jamie's recovery, we lost his mum, my sister Vicki to leukaemia on Boxing day 2003.

In March last year, Jamie's dad, Tom was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma and is currently battling this disease.

To show our support for Tom and Jamie, I have signed up for Edinburgh Marathon and Susan will compete in the Edinburgh Half Marathon, both on May 26th, to raise money for the Butterwick Hospice, an excellent local charity chosen by Tom.

Please dig deep to sponsor us (the dog will NOT be joining us)

We will be running 26.2 miles in honour of Tom, my favourite brother in law who is expected to buy the first drink afterwards...
