I said I would never do it again, my last marathon 2004 I finished in 4 hours 1 minute and 51 seconds.  I am detemined to finish a marathon in under 4 hours before I reach 50 years of youth. Time is running out!

Also as I am sure you are aware, my daughter Sarah has been undergoing treatment for cancer.  The staff at the Brodey Centre in Banbury have been fantastic.  The Brodey Centre is a fairly recent addition to the Horton General Hospital and is a specialist day centre for cancer sufferers. Already it is stretched to the seams and desperately needs additional funds in order to treat people efficiently, I therefore decided to choose the Brodey Centre as my reason for running.
