Sadly, I lost my lovely mum, Jackie, to cancer on 24 May last year. So when the opportunity to raise money for british cancer (breast/ovarian and cervical) came up, I decided it was the right charity event for me...India, being the birth place of my mother - seemed like the right place to do the challenge - riding 350 KM over 5 consecutive days. I am sure it will be a wonderful personal journey for me and I am looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity of raising monies for this worthy cause.
