Sponsor Perry Sugarman to Raise Money For
CAMP
SIMCHA
In February 2010 Perry
will be participating in a two week climb of 19,340 feet to reach the top of
Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania.
His challenge is to
reach the summit of the tallest free standing mountain in the world.
By sponsoring him you
can help him reach his goal of raising
£5,000
Launched in 1995, Camp
Simcha exists to enhance quality of life for children with Cancer and other
life threatening illnesses such as muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, genetic
diseases and serious heart conditions.
Unforgettable experiences
have the power to lift spirits and to give vital strength and energy for the
challenges these children face. A special treat, a party or a great day out can
make a great difference to the healing process.
But it's not just the
children who require the charity’s support. The pressures and anguish of caring
for a seriously ill child takes its toll on parents and on brothers and
sisters. That is why family liaison
officers are there 24/7 to offer practical and emotional support to parents,
and wonderful young volunteers focus attention on siblings as well as the sick
child. Families benefit from a sense of hope that comes from being part of the
family.
