Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and a huge massive thank you to everyone that's sponsored me so far. Can't believe I've more than doubled my goal - its amazing. Great news for me and the DAA. Well D-day's been and long gone and I have to admit I was a bit nervous to start with. But all went very well, thanks to the wonderful Hayley at Quinns Hair Salon. I love my new look and mum hasn't stopped grinning and going on about it ever since! (Might have to gag her later :)). Hope you like the before and after shots below.

Waiting for an ambulance in rural Devon can be a hair raising experience. Many lives have been saved because of the speed at which the Devon Air Ambulance can reach and transport a casualty. I couldn't think of a better way of helping them than having my own 'hair raising' experience!

For the last 2 - 3 years I have steadfastly refused to have my hair cut, much to mum and dad's despair. It had grown into quite a distinctive style and almost had its own personality! Now though with university interviews looming and volunteering duties with St John Ambulance, I've decided its time for a new look and used the opportunity to raise some money at the same time.

So many people know me because of my hairstyle, I thought it would be a good idea to ask them to sponsor me to have it cut off. So ON MY 18TH BIRTHDAY (15th March)  I went for it! Thanks to all those who joined in the fun, have seen a new me, pleased my mum and raised money for a good cause at the same time. Thanks so much to all my sponsors.
