The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

This is Tessa and she is 15 months old. We are just emerging from an extended period of jumping, chewing, biting, running after deer, chasing the chickens and burying dog chews down the side of the sofa. To celebrate this we are taking the opportunity for Tessa to give back to her fellow dogs. We are doing the Paw Trek at the Longleat Estate. The course is two miles and we have been in training for a month. Tessa will manage this without any problem so we may have to go around twice!

So here's a chance to make a difference to blind and partially sighted people. It takes nearly £50,000 to train and support a Guide Dog and there are something like 180,000 people who need to get help and support either through a sight dog or in using a cane.

Here's the deal, either add a donation now or bring your dog along and walk with us. Thank  you for your help.
