Story
As some of you already know, after several months of training and questioning exactly why I decided to sign up for it, on Sunday 23 May I will be taking part in the Edinburgh marathon to raise money for the Accord Hospice near Glasgow. I would be extremely grateful for any donations towards my fundraising target of £2,000 and I know your generosity will make a huge difference to the hospice.
The Accord Hospice is a fantastic charity which provides palliative care to over 500 patients and their families in the west of Scotland every year, both within the hospice itself and in the wider community. Although it receives a limited amount of public funding, the hospice is overwhelmingly reliant on charitable fundraising to support its £2 million annual budget.
Thanks for all your support, and I hope to be reporting back on a successful 26 and a bit miles very soon!
