Story

 

I was in & out of hospital from late 2006 until mid 2007. I was fortunate to have the support of my family, friends & work colleagues, they helped me enormously. At the time I was greatly concerned about my health & the quality of my life in the future.

As my health has improved I began to feel more confident & positive, this allowed me to recommence walking & cycling on a regular basis. Since that time my confidence has grown and now (in my 60th year) I wanted a personal challenge for myself.

My challenge for 2010 is to cycle over 700 miles across , from the English Channel to the .

The purpose of my trip is to acknowledge the support that I received from the British Heart Foundation, it therefore seemed appropriate to raise money to help them to continue their good works.
