Story

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you know our son Edward (Little Ed!) has profound learning disabilites and presently lives at 'Pocket Nook', a care home in Bolton run by The Together Trust.  Ed is very happy and settled and this is wholly due to the wonderful staff who work there and the positive outlook that is present throughout the whole organisation.

As a big thank you to them Sue and I are running the Great North Run in September to raise a few pounds to help them continue in their work.  They have agreat website that tells you all you might need to know about their work.

So we are doing lots of training so that we will at least finish the race - the time is immaterial although the same day finish would be nice!  I had a knee arthoscopy in May to repair my medial meniscus so I am hoping that will survive the training and the run.  Sue has a hamstring problem so we have two good legs betwen us! Should be fun

Anyway, the justgiving text comes next so I will just say if you can spare a few quid I would love to hear from you.

Thank you so much. Ed will be proud of Mummy & Daddy!
