As a result of some impulsive and non evidence based decision making last year I now find myself having to run 26 miles through the streets of London!

That said, I would like to make the best of the situation by running for the League of Friends of Honeylands Children's centre. The centre provides excellent care for children with complex special needs and the league of friends supports this work through its fund raising activities which has helped with the purchasing of specialist physiotherapy and occupational therapy equipment as well as funding a toy library, an innovative music therapy scheme and helped parents with the cost of attending courses to maximise their children's potential.

So please spare a thought for the pain I am soon to experience and give as generously as you can to this very worthy cause.
