Story

Hi

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you are aware l ran the Great South Run last October and thanks to generous friends and family managed to raise £420.00. It is now that time of year again and on the 24th October l will be attempting to run the 10 mile course again, I must be mad!!!

I realise it is short notice but l am hoping to raise more funds for the Oxford Kidney Transplant Foundation. It is now over 3 years since i donated one of my kidney's to my sister who as a result of kidney failure, suffered for years. Thanks to the excellent work of the renal unit she now has a fantastic quality of life. But without the excellent work in the renal unit, things would be a lot different. She would have remained on dialysis and not be able to live a "normal" life. The renal unit do fantastic work and the nursing staff are excellent.

It is with this in mind that l am asking you all to dig deep to help raise funds, no matter how big or small, every penny raised goes to a good cause.

Thanking you in anticipation of your genorosity.
