Story
In July 2010 I am going to Uganda through a project being run by the University of Leeds in association with Soft power Education. This charity is based completely on partnerships with schools, working to try and improve quality of life through education. I will be working as a volunteer, teaching English and Maths and also helping to build a new classroom! Would really appreciate your support, however small.
£5 could buy a shovel or 4 litres of paint
£10 could pay for 60 bricks
£20 could buy a truck load of plaster sand
£35 could pay for the wages of one of our pre school teachers for a month
£50 could buy essential resources for the science outreach lessons from the Amagezi Education Centre for five schools
All the money donated on this page will go directly to the building materials and teaching resources that are needed in order to make my trip out there as worthwhile as possible.
