Story

If you are in the position to give a donation it will go towards helping to maintain the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre.

Our charity is extremely special. Every day is different and the young people who attend, whether it be for riding, non riding activities or some other form of equine therapy, all gain so much.

The ponies become catalysts for learning, enabling even the non achievers to achieve great things.
The ponies stimulate those with physical disabilities, enabling them to have enjoyable exercise.
Those in wheelchairs, who normally have to look up at the rest of the world, are looked up to by others whilst they ride their ponies.
Miracles can be seen happening, for example, when a young child with very weak uncoordinated legs manages to take what is a small step after dismounting her pony. This then becomes truly an enormous life changing stride.
The child who is silent with mental anguish is seen softly whispering to her pony.

These are some of the reasons why the Pony Centre is very important to so many in our local community. Please support us.
