Who are we? Paragon Dhol Academy
The Paragon Dhol Academy was established in 2007 and has been running successfully ever since. The academy was created to teach and instill Dhol players of the future with the emphasis with of learning and developing the art of music and performance. Building from the solid foundations that were firmly set, the academy evolved with the hard work and dedication of all those involved which allowed us to become one of the most renowned Dhol groups in the industry.
The academy’s primary purpose was to teach the new generation of Dhol players in way that was innovative whilst maintaining traditional Dhol beats. At the Paragon Dhol Academy we envisage and hope that all our Dhol players will develop alongside us with all the values, respect and skills that we have passed on to them.
Who are we raising awareness for?
There is a little superhero called Milan Singh who prompted this movement ‘Happy to Help’.
When Milan was just three, Doctors found cancerous tumours in his abdomen. With the doctors & Milan's amazing bravery, he successfully fought off the condition and was back to living a normal, mischievous life. However, Milan has recently been diagnosed with AML Leukaemia (a form of blood cancer). He is now awaiting a match for a bone marrow transplant. Many other children are in the same predicament.
How we are going to help?
We will be donating a percentage of our earnings from each performance towards the charity to help raise funds for medical equipment. Majority of the patients at GOSH are under the age of 2, some who have been admitted there since birth. The funding #TeamMilanSingh at Happy to Help are raising with the aim to support the purchases of medical equipment so the patients at GOSH can continue to receive a high quality service to defeat their battles.

How can you help?
DONATE – If the money we raise helps one child or can ease the pain of one parent, that money is well spent.
You can also register to become a bone marrow donor. If you become a donor, your specimen won't necessarily be used for Milan, but if it is used, then rest assured that you've saved somebody's life.
