The ride followed the route of The Queen Eleanor crosses, which were build by King Edward 1^st along the route of the funeral cortege for his wife Eleanor, from Lincoln to London – a trip of 210 miles; plus a little extra mileage, due to someone (ME!) leading the group on a right merry-dance!!

This was a charity event raising funds for The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, which helps the homeless and disadvantaged in Central London.
