The Queen Eleanor Cycle Ride
Fundraising for The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields
The ride followed the route of The Queen Eleanor crosses, which were build by King Edward 1st along the route of the funeral cortege for his wife Eleanor, from Lincoln to London – a trip of 210 miles; plus a little extra mileage, due to someone (ME!) leading the group on a right merry-dance!!
This was a charity event raising funds for The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, which helps the homeless and disadvantaged in Central London.
