We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the Quins Pedallars!  In a mad moment we all agreed that we would take part in the Thames Bridges Bike Ride, which involves us all cycling over 30 miles along the Thames riverbank!  That's easy you may be thinking, well if you know how fit (or not!) we all are then this will be anything but easy!  Especially when you consider that some members allegedly haven't been on a bike since the age of 12!

Aside from having a bit of fun, we are all hoping to raise some money for a worthwhile cause, The Stroke Association. I'm sure that many of us know someone close to us who has suffered a stroke and this charity is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages.  It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
