Fundraising for Winston's Wish
Story
The Cotswold Way 2010.
Bath to Chipping Campden.
4 days 102 miles.
1st - 4th July 2010
Following the success of last years Three Peaks Challenge the charity challenge for 2010 has been decided upon. This year it takes the form of a walk of epic proportions. A team of 16 RA staff shall be walking the length of the Cotswold Way a route of 102 miles between Bath and Chipping Campden. The advised time scale for the route is 7 days but as ever we aim to make life hard for ourselves and do it in 4.....the trip is made more difficult still due to the harsh terrain, numerous assents, descents and all too basic tents that will be our home for the duration.
Like last year we are raising money for Winston's Wish a Cheltenham based charity that provide help and support for bereaved children across the UK. Their website www.winstonswish.org.uk tells you all you need to know, so if you have a moment take a look and we are sure you will agree it is a truly worthy cause! 100% of your donation will go straight to the charity, so please be as generous as you can. Also a quick reminder if you do make a donation please click the gift-aid box and the charity get a bit more money from the government. We have set ourselves a high target and we really hope to get as close to it as possible so again, please help us on our way if you can!
