Thanks for your fantastic support. The day was brilliant and the weather perfect.

20,000 runners and many thousands of terrific supporters all along the route.

Amazingly I didn't actually win (!) but I did achieve a Personal best of 1.47:58 - which is 4 minutes better than previous.

The pledges you made spurred me on and I really thank you for that. Bad news is that 2011 might be marathon year for me so tuck a fiver under your mattress in case I come calling again.
