Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've decided that now is the time to give back to society so on Saturday 3rd July I will be taking to the streets of Romford (Essex) to do a sponsored 10k walk at mignight to raise money for St Francis Hospice.

Saint Francis Hospice is a centre of excellence in the care of those with life limiting illnesses - cancer, respiratory illness, Motor Neurone Disease etc.  Their team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and health care assistants provide practical and emotional support for adults of all ages and give specialist bereavement support to family members from as young as 20 months. They care for 500 in-patients and make more than 5,000 home visits a year.

I understand the importance of the work provided by Hospices because a friend of mine passed away in a Hospice due to terminal cancer. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Help me to raise money for a great cause and donate now!
