Story

Margaret Brine was well known in Crosby. An Amazing wife, sister, mum, nan/ great nan and aunty. A Happy and Energetic Woman (had us running round every where) enthusiastic shopper (one of many talents) was diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 66years (2004). she lived 3years with lung cancer and was very strong (she told us off a few times) made sure everything carried on as it should. She was even determined  to go on a weekend away to centre parcs which was booked for the 22nd June 2007. She went to centre parcs with her oxygen and even then refused to go in the wheelchair (' i can't let people see me in that') while on the holiday nan arranged that she would do my hair for my school prom(June 28th) and talked about the birthday presents she had got for me. on the 26th June 2007 (the day after we got home) my beloved nan died peacefully at home.   in memory of nan my mum, sister (laura) and myself are doing the woodlands hospice midnight walk in aintree may 15th. this ia a hospice which my nan spent time at during her life. xx donations will be much appreciated. thank you x
