Story

Myself and my friend Fiona Thompson are running London Marathon 2015 to raise money for Scottish Huntington’s Association. This charity is our works chosen charity of the year and one close to my heart. At Bandrum Nursing Home we look after a lot of people and their families who are affected by the disease. The charity is one that passes more funds on than most to those that need it land based. Fiona and I decided to take on this big challenge after running Alloa Half marathon in 2014 and then Edinburgh’s Road Block run in October. At the roadblock run we raised £330 for Chest Heart and Stoke Scotland and thereafter we decided to step it up a notch! We have never attempted the 26miles required for a full Marathon!

We have pledged to raise £2000 at least between us. One of our plans to do this is to arrange a Fundraiser night including a fun stars in your eyes competition and auction
