Story

Following my participation in the Oxfam Trailwalker 2009 event (the UK's most popular 'Ultra Marathon') I figured 'how hard can one marathon be'!!?? Well, the big difference is I actually have to RUN this one THE WHOLE WAY....

Researching charities to run for, Action for Children ticked all the boxes for me. I was moved by the positive, hands on, life changing work carried out by AfC with disadvantaged kids primarily in the UK but also in other far reaching areas of the globe. The money that I - with your support and generosity - will raise will change the lives of our disadvantaged children for generations to come. THANK YOU!

So, it's a long road ahead. In my training I will cover some 500 miles, 2 pairs of trainers, 1 set of orthotics, 1000 tracks on the iPod, 1 set of toe nails and several barrels of sweat! But it's all in the name of a great cause so please, if you can spare me some words of encouragement and any kind of donation you will help me in achieving this goal and transforming some lives....
