96.3 Radio Aire & Magic 828’s Cash For Kids Auction Week is raising money for the NSPCC and ChildLine.

We need your help to make sure that no child’s cry for help goes unheard here in Leeds and West Yorkshire.

 

70% of the money raised will ensure that children can keep calling ChildLine if they have a problem and that adults can call The NSPCC Helpline if they’re worried about a young person.

 

30% will stay with Cash for Kids to continue the good work they do in supporting local children through the grants they provide to other chariities. 

Last year ChildLine counsellors at ChildLine Leeds helped nearly 10,000 children and young people. From bullying and family relationships to sexual abuse and self harm, ChildLine offer 1-2-1 advice via the phone, e-mail and social networking websites.

The NSPCC Helpline is a free, 24-hour service which provides advice and support to anyone worried about a child, whether it’s a serious concern about a child being badly treated, or a need for advice about a child’s welfare.
