We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Richard and Tasha have been training hard for 4 months to participate in a cycle challenge for 2 very worthy causes.

In 4 weeks time we will be joining a group of 100 cyclists cycling 100 km a day for 3 days - travelling  from London to Amsterdam to Brussels.

We will be getting saddle sore in support of 2 charities - the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the British Red Cross. Out of every pound you donate 50p will go towards finding a cure for Type 1* diabetes and help those affected have a better quality of life and 50p will go towards the care and support of HIV/AIDS orphans in sub-Saharan Africa.

We would be very grateful if you could give what you can to support us

*Type 1 diabetes is commonly diagnosed from infancy and is a chronic, life threatening condition. People diagnosed with it rely on insulin injections or pump infusions every day just to stay alive. jdrf is fundamentally involved in the research that will help those affected have a better quality of life.
