We all hope we will never need help from an emergency service, but it’s
comforting to know it’s there if necessary. The only way the air ambulance service can be provided is with £2m a year private funding. All the
funding (with the sole exception of the Paramedics' salaries) must be
raised
by the Trust. There is no support from Government or the National
Lottery.
To-date, the helicopter has answered at least
9,270 emergency calls within the Thames Valley area, saving lives. To
raise the necessary funds to maintain this life-saving service, the
Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust desperately needs your
help with donations and bequests.
