SportsAid is the only national charity of its kind, proudly supporting young British sportsmen and women who aspire to be our next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions.

Story

For my latest challenge I have chosen to swim a mile in the open water at Alton Water reservoir in Suffolk on 28th September.  This will involve wearing a wetsuit in public, but hopefully it will all go swimmingly!

I am raising money for SportsAid, a charity which gives financial support to young talented British athletes to help meet the high costs of training, equipment and competing and to allow them to realise their sporting potential and move on to the next level. SportsAid helps 1,500 able-bodied and disabled young sports people every year.

I think top athletes are awe-inspiring and helping talented young sports people reach this level is a worthwhile cause.

So, if you can spare some cash and would also like to support this cause please sponsor me.

Thank you for your support.
