CancerCare is a local cancer and bereavement charity that helps people discover their capacity for life when times are tough - with the professional help, emotional support and collective strength to face whatever's next.More than 90% of CancerCare's work is funded by people like you who donate, fundraise or give a gift in their Will.

"Like so many others, many of my family and friends have either braved, or are braving, various forms of cancer. Some of these dear people remain with us. Sadly, some do not.                            Behind every person with cancer is a group of family and friends who are also affected; acknowledgement,understanding, tolerance and  continuous support are exhausting. These wonderful qualities of human nature require patience and great emotional stamina.                      I'd like to help by raising money with a visible show of  support from us all .                                                  I'm having my head shaved  as a gesture of solidarity. For people whose loss of hair is not by choice but as a consequence of treatment, facing the world can leave them feeling emotionally drained, socially inhibited and vulnerable in public.  My aim is to demonstrate this message:-                                     'NO HAIR?
