The Haemophilia Society is the only UK-wide charity for all those affected by a genetic bleeding disorder. We want to ensure that everyone affected by a bleeding disorder has equality of opportunity, the chance to connect with others in the community and the knowledge to feel empowered.

Story

I am undertaking a charity bike ride of approx 250 miles (probably more when we get lost - I am doing the ride with a couple of mates: Pete 'Genghis' Cook & Phil 'Wobbly' Warner) from my home in Essex to my parents home in North Lincolnshire. The charity that will benefit from this is The Haemophilia Society, a charity which works very hard with people who suffer from blood disorders & has been very supportive to one of my family members over many years.

I am getting matched fund raising from Barclays, so every pound you can afford will be matched for the charity.

The ride sets off on Wednesday 18 August from Westcliff on Sea & takes in Colchester, Cambridge, Kings Lynn & eventually arrives in Scotton on Saturday 21 August.

Thanks for taking the time to donate
