I'm taking part in the 50K Challenge for Blind Veterans UK.

Training will start in the New Year as 50K sounds a very long way.

Blind Veterans UK is a charity that I've had contact with through my work at Remploy - supporting disabled veterans into employment.  I hope that by doing this walk I'll be helping support and promote the great work that they do.

I've got a big birthday coming up in 2015.  A few years ago I set myself a challenge of raising £10K before the birthday and only have £300 left to go!

Hopefully, doing the 50K challenge will raise lots of money for Blinds Veterans UK and help with my target.
