The XLP Toubkal challenge certainly lived up to its name. This was NOT a walk in the park! It was however an amazing experience which we are both relieved and encouraged to have survived intact (at our age....!). Knowing that so many people had supported us so generously helped spur us on and we do thank you very sincerely for your overwhelming response to our email.  We wish you could share with us the amazing scenery, food and friendship we experienced over the six days. We would spare you the toilet unfacilities, aches (Richard) and tumbles (Rhos) as we plodded ever upwards and then seemingly endlessly downwards. It was worth all the effort though and the sense of achievement when we got back to the base camp was incredible.

XLP have brilliant plans for the money raised through this sponsored trek and we hope you are encouraged to know that your donation will directly help disadvantaged teenagers in some of the most deprived parts of London.
