Story

For the fourth and last time, I'm planning to run the London Marathon in 2012, in memory of my mum who died from Breast Cancer in 2008. St Francis Hospice in Berkhamsted is a wonderful charity that deserves as much financial support as you can give.

I've previously run the marathon in 4.48 (2000), 4.13 (2004) and 4.05 (2008). This is the year to beat the 4 hours; currently I'm on target for 3.50. Please donate and motivate me through the dark, dreary hours of winter as I miss my pint and hopefully lose my belly.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
