Story

Hi,

Thanks for sponsoring me.

I completed the Berlin Marathon in the rain and the cold - and although it was hard work I finished in 4 hours 34 mins - not my best time but pleased to have finished. Thanks to all of you for your support. (Remember its not too late to donate!)

Richard

On my recent trip to Peru we were lucky enough to be shown the Kiya Survivors Charity. These people make a real difference to children who have Special Needs and who have been the victims of abuse. So many children live in poverty and this inspirational charity runs a couple of centers, special needs school and a refuge for abandoned children.

I am planning to run in the Berlin Marathon (knees permitting) on 26th September 2010 and if I can drag my (rather elderly) body around the streets of Berlin I am sure that you could donate some money! Please give generously!

You can visit their website at http://www.kiyasurvivors.org

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
