This trip to Belgium and France is to commemorate all those who lost their lives in the early engagements of the BEF at the start of the First World War. The group will be marching and cycling between many memorable locations, on the dates that the BEF were present there 100 years ago.

The group will be representing members of the 2nd Battalion of the Essex Regiment, throughout the trip.
