Every year the boys at Maidwell Hall choose a charity to donate to. This year it is the turn of a foreign charity and they have chosen Amantani UK which is a small charity started in 2008 to support the poor children of the Ccorca region of Peru, one of Peru's poorest regions. Speficially the charity is currently involved in two boarding school projects and it is these projects that all the money raised will be channelled to. This is an incredibly poor area, with children sometimes having to walk 4 hours each way to school, if indeed they can attend any school at all and they are currently left open to toal exploitation when they grow up and move with no opportunites to the big cities (with some appauling results). This is a wonderful cause in a poor part of the world, unrecognised by any other charity.
